I’m Karin Katherine.
I’ve spent most of my life chasing after happiness and struggling with bouts of perfectionism and insecurity.
Can you relate?
Did you ever believe that you could never be happy until you became a wife or mother?
A Grateful Life is for women who want to celebrate motherhood and the art of homemaking. Even when it’s not perfect.
It’s a place to come for practical tips and inspiration on practicing gratitude in the everyday and celebrating life.
Did you swear to yourself that you wouldn’t make any of the same parenting mistakes your parents did, or that you’d be the perfect mother? You know, the one who can play Barbies (or trucks) for hours without complaining.
Or that you’d never be one of those women who lives in a uniform of oatmeal-crusted sweat pants and a messy pony tail?
Maybe you had visions of nightly gourmet Family Dinners with your family sitting around the dining table. But instead you find yourself, most nights, eating cereal for dinner in the kitchen standing up.
My point is we’ve all been there. We’ve all struggled with trying to figure out what our dream is and how to balance that with real life responsibilities.
Even that Mom across the street who looks like she has it all together.
Trust me. She probably doesn’t think she’s doing such a hot job either.
Even though she is.
…and so are you.
I believe most of us are trying to do the best we can with what we know. Unfortunately, I think we tell ourselves lies and make things harder for ourselves in the process.
Are you ready to be encouraged?
A Grateful Life is about practicing gratitude and celebrating life. Everyday.
It’s a place to come for inspiration, practical tips and encouragement.
