We have the foam building blocks– because wood ones would surely injure when they are hurled or dropped. I'm just sayin.
My boys will still take the blocks out and combine them with Lincoln Logs, Legos and Hot Wheels cars! 🙂
Hey, for your boy, I bet they would LOVE Kapla blocks! Pricey for blocks but the way they are precision cut allows you to stack and build more elaborately than with other blocks. They have a great balance to each piece.
I will have to check out the Kapla blocks. I've never heard of them! I get so much mileage out of our block toys. LOVE THEM.
