I rarely watch TV, but when I do, I must confess I go through my TIVO’d episodes of The Real Housewives of Orange County (the original and best housewives in my opinion).
I recently joked on Facebook that I was watching The Real Housewives because I apparently don’t have enough reality in my life! The truth is, I like to watch the California fashions because these moms have not fallen into the sweatpants and ponytail funk that I frequently do.
On the final episode Alexis wore the most amazing dress from Tal Shayen (pictured below on right) and I am desperate to get it. I hope it comes with little black shorts to wear under it because it seems a bit short.

I see myself teaching math in this. If you saw my dream shoe, you would know how practical I am.
But seriously, not only is this dress fashionable and gorgeous, but I could even work it into our studies by letting the kids help me figure out how many more inches of fabric I need to sew on to the bottom so I could leave the house in this. I’m pretty sure you cannot sit down in this dress. But then that won’t be problem at my house because I feel like I never get to sit down as it is—I might as well look fashionable while I’m teaching!
I also want to know who does her hair and if they would be willing to fly to Florida and do mine for a week! A homeschool mom can dream, can’t she?
