I am someone that needs markers. I need to be able to see where I am. That is not always possible in life and God has certainly shown that to me a few times. Yet, He is also gracious in allowing me my “markers”.
As we begin our adoption journey our first decision was to choose our adoption service provider. We went with an agency. We believe it is the right decision for our family because of the peace we have in making that decision, the strong referral we received from a friend who completed 3 adoptions using this agency, and the comfort level I had after speaking to two of the very special women who work there and will be handling our adoption. I think this journey will be an emotional one and I believe that they will prayerfully guide us through it.
We are looking forward to our 2-day domestic adoption orientation in the fall.
Until then, please keep us in your prayers…and pray for the expectant women who have chosen life and the GIFT of adoption for their children. I know they will be richly blessed for their courageous and difficult decision.

How wonderful!
May I ask you a personal question? Well, I will… but you don't have to answer it. 😉
How long was adoption on your heart before you proceeded? Was it on your heart before your husband's? or visa versa? How long before you were one mind?
blessings,

I will be praying for you!!
I have 6 children and another on the way. 3 of my children are adopted (we did it through the state foster care system however, we were never foster parents).
Adoption was an amazing experience. I call them my easiest pregnancies : )
When I look back I am amazed and what God has done in our family. I can see His tapestry through it all. I would love to share my story with you (it is just too long to write here).
