By prepping our lunches the evening before:
– I don’t have to stop lessons early to prepare lunch
– My kitchen stays cleaner
– Our transition to lunch is smoother (kids just get their lunchboxes)
– We waste less food (uneaten food returns to the fridge for “snack” time)
I found Easy Lunchboxes after my beloved Tupperware lunch boxes went missing and were discontinued. I actually like these better because they are:
– Easier to open
– Dishwasher & microwave safe
– BPA free
– Take up less space than my Bento boxes and former favorite Tupperware lunch container
Plus, I love how there are lunch ideas on the website to inspire you to create healthy kid friendly meals of your own.

What a terrific idea to pack early! I do this for my son (well HE does it) that goes to PS, but I never thought of it for my homeschooler!
Another fabulous tip/product recommended by Karin! (keep em coming)

I just bought the olive cooler and two sets of the containers. This is going to be perfect for packing lunch for our Classical Conversations classes on Monday afternoon. Actually, our Mondays will be school, CC, guitar lessons, boy/cub scouts. I think we'll make it home by 9pm. Oi!
