Links & Things: Fitting it all in edition

This week I’m sharing my favorite links and photos AND the new iPhone Parents Pics link up. I hope you enjoy seeing these features together and join in on the fun.

 

This writing thing is hard. Particularly when it comes to writing about motherhood.  Because Motherhood is 24/7 and doesn’t always fit in a color coded schedule.  Things happen.  Your schedule changes, sometimes often.

I’m really struggling with finding time for my personal pursuits while somehow managing our home, being a supportive wife, nurturing my children and helping them to each discover and develop their own interests & talents.  Lately I find myself feeling very restless and confused. It’s hard to know what to give up and what to keep when everything seems good and worthy of my time. Do you ever struggle with this?

 

Our girls started horseback riding lessons this week and I’m excited to say that I survived it. My little over achievers can’t wait to start jumping. I told them that you have to be over 50 to do that.

86 Things I want my children to know {Finding Joy}

My friend, Kelly is a teacher (who recently started her own school) and is the brain behind The Learning Genome Project which is about making individualized education available for all students. It’s something that every Parent, Teacher and Home Educator should know about and support. I’m so excited about this (and proud of her).  How many of us can say we feel strongly enough about something enough to actually do something about it?
