I bought The Pioneer Woman Cooks by Ree Drummond.
Did you know it’s a NY Times Bestseller?
It’s also the first cookbook (other than Barefoot Contessa series) that I’ve wanted to dive right in and start cooking from! I only hope the Picky Little Eaters don’t take away my cooking joy when I break into this book!
I’ll keep you posted on how I do and what I try.
Anyone else cooking like a Pioneer woman?

Most definitely. One of the best cookbooks ever, my husband says. Now, I'll go ahead and warn ya about that Chocolate Sheet Cake. It's a doozy good.

I got this cookbook too! I haven't made any recipes yet because they all seem really….heavy….but they all look amazing!

I would love to try this cookbook, but like you, I have 3 Picky Little Eaters to contend with! If you try anything that even ONE of your children likes, please share it and I'll go out and buy the book just for that one recipe! 🙂

I bought this Thursday night and read it cover from cover. I laughed so hard. It i by far one of the best cookbooks ever. I have already made 3 recipes from it and they are all simple and delicious. My husband is a meat and potatoes guy and he is very appreciative of this new book. Try the cinnamon roll…..OH MY waistline!!!

Am I? Most definitely not. Since Al has been on a diet, I haven't cooked!

I bought it, but have since become a vegetarian! When my dh comes home from deployment, I will make good use of it for his sake! I enjoyed the jalepeno bacon thingys and the breakfast burritos were a hit with my parents and brother. They called me a great cook–little did they know the secret of Pioneer Woman. 😉
Blessings,
Shannon C

I love this cookbook. So far just about every recipe I've tried has been a hit (well, excluding MY 3 picky little eaters – glad I'm not alone!). We especially loved the chili and the meatballs. The meatloaf, not so much. But the meatballs are seriously to die for!

i have it, read it but haven't cooked from it yet. i think the cinnamon rolls are on the top of my list. i have tried a couple of recipes from her site and they were just okay. we shall see. even if the recipes aren't amazing, the book itself is still worth it! let me know if you make anything.

I am so jealous. If shipping to Hong Kong weren't so expensive, I would have ordered my copy long ago. Cannot wait for your updates.
Love & Blessings,

I LOVE this cookbook! I got mine for Christmas from my dad (who got it signed for me while I was in the hospital). So many great recipes…I haven't found a bad one in the bunch!
